1 3/4 cups of cake flour
2 tsp double-acting baking powder
1.2 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar

3 egg yolks

2 to 7 tablespoons melted butter or salad oil
1 1/2 cups milk

3 egg whites

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.

Beat egg yolks well

Add butter and milk.

Make a hole in the center of the sifted ingredient.
Pour in the liquid ingredients.
Combine them with a few swift strokes.
The batter should have a pebbled look, similar to a muffin batter.

Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry.
Fold them into the batter until they are barely blended.

6 Waffles.
